I try to go to the VA Hospital and visit our vets, of course I am one so I know how much a visit means. Military.com is asking all vets to break out, clean up and wear their medals this Veterans Day as a show of support for our troops. You may not agree with what the government is doing, but you have to remember our troops are there to protect us, if they are told to go anywhere and do whatever they do so because they are protecting us the best way they know how, and are taking orders not writing the script. So how about stopping at your local VA Hospital, if you can afford to take a few $5.00 bills and tuck in the pocket of the ones that could use it. Ask the nurses they can tell you who could use it and who would really appreciate a thank you from a grateful American

My boss is a Viet-Nam Veteran (he did three tours)

He says that as a Vet it's his right to make us work on Veterans Day
No Joke - I'll be at work with him.
