I'm not single but I've been in the past, and honestly sometimes it's better than being in a relationship. you don't have to worry about the other person all the time, there's more freedom. but it's wonderful to be loved by someone and spend time with them and that's something I really miss when I'm not in a relationship. my question is, is it possible to be just as happy single or will you always feel something is missing?

It depends on what you want in life. A single person can be just as happy or sometimes happier than a person in a relationship. Being single defiently has its advantages, as you said in your question, but being in a relationship can be a wonderful thing. If you are in a relationship and feel you woudl be happier single, maybe you are with the wrong person. You can still be loved and not be in a relationship, surround yourself with family and friends. Its not the same, but defiently a great feeling to be surrounded by friends and family. Maybe you just havent found the right person. You have to do what makes you happy and what you feel is best for you. Everyone is different.

I'm happily single. But that doesn't mean I get lonely from time to time. That's perfectly natural.
