Try dropping some Tink's Scent Bombs under your stand. They should come right up to them for a sniff.

Get you a doe decoy and set it up with a bunch of Tinks #69 or doe in heat under it. Also, if you haven't gotten them yet, splurge on a pair of 3D Leafy Camo (jacket and pants). I shot a doe at 5 yds and my blind was a cedar bush and a bucket. She and several others never even knew I was there. I was wearing a T-shirt and shorts under the camo and had bathed in that anti-scent body wash that morning. (You gotta love west Texas in the fall.) Another tactic I use is poring corn into a low bush about 20 yards away. They will smell it and while rooting around in the bush, you get time to draw unnoticed. I have an eligible Pope and Young typical 10 on the wall from last year by doing this. Check your local laws though.

I agree with the others set up a bush or two out close to where the deer eat and use that for a blind. If you have camo and nets on you, they will look for a while and then walk on past. I set on a canvass camp stool once looking to the North at a spot in the trail that I had seen well traveled and caught a movement on my right. There was a doe and behind her a herd of about 12 does and yearling button bucks. She was about 10 yards from me and just stood there looking at me. I just kept my eyes down and soon she started walking again and all the others followed her on past me. It was fantastic to see.

use some "doe in heat" put it on some small rags tied with string to your boots, walk a trail right across in front of you stand, within bow range. Also, you can use some calls to help bring em in. Rattle some old deer horns together like bucks fighting. Works pretty well for me.

Hunt from the ground I use a folding camp stool lets me move with the wind and other conditions.
Tree stands are to static for me I set up 5 or 6 times a day depending on wind and travel .
Deer are like most cattle and cant see directly in front of them set up right in their path of travel and they will walk right into you if you dont move

Call me old fashioned, but I have never used any of the scents on the market today. I throw a bunch of apples in a burlap sack and beat a few trees with it. Its simple and it works pretty well. I get the apples the night before from my local market, they almost always have some for free.

If you can get some corn or acorns scatter them around closer to your stand so they are in range. Sometimes the chum will bring them close enough if they dont smell you or see you. I usually throw corn out of my feeder closer to my stand or make a trail kinda.

Your ultimate opportunities for significant greenbacks is for the period of early bow and previous due bow season while stress is low and then foodstuff will become a prioity. Now for reference! I spent entire seasons searching one dollar never finding lower back at what i will have shot.so which you ought to settle on that that's a concern to seek a trophy dollar or no longer.(yet a real trophy is as much as you)Dont set your factors of interest to intense and spend extra time in stand doing the right issues to take a great dollar. Stand placement-region,get admission to to,foodstuff soure, conceal, wind are some issues i visit stick to to a T! Dont hunt and be patterned or hunt in the incorrect situations(wind is misguided, timing to stand..) so out of one week the final stand you have might merely supply you one or 2 days good searching. those good greenbacks replace behavior with stress from human beings, the rut and the wintry climate feeds to proceed to exist searching stress they dont disappear they simply replace behavior so which you would be able to desire to look and hunt the dollar in yet in any different case becuase of this. To me if i'm trophy searching i visit spend the attempt and time searching one specific dollar I rather have scouted and that i visit never over hunt him or hunt the area on days while situations are no longer good for that stand. So good good fortune and merely take excitement in the seek and dont stress your self to the element of "I ought to kill a e book dollar"!
