I can not see materials that I may be reading with or without my contact lenses. However, I love contact lenses.

Yes, you can. I do it myself. I'm nearsighted but also in my late 40s so I have developed the loss of near vision to a certain extent. I don't have this problem when I'm not wearing contacts or glasses but I do when I'm wearing them. In the case of contacts, I use reading glasses. When I'm wearing glasses, I simply take them off or pull them down and look over the top when I'm reading or looking at near objects. It's cheaper than getting bifocals and I probably see better that way.

Since you love contacts so much, did you know that you can wear one contact for distance and one contact for reading? You brain eventually adjusts.
