Well, for the past two years, Discover has run a deal in November and December in malls around the US -- you basically can get 10% off up to $1000 in spending at the mall (that's $100 back on Christmas spending).
However, other credit cards are a much better deal on other spending and at other times of the year.

You might want to try out this rewards calculator to see which credit card will pay you the most rewards for your normal monthly spending:

One with a cash rewards program. And of course, only charge what you can afford to pay in full at the end of the month.

Actually, the really best credit card would be one that Santa actually paid off for you. If you find one of those, be sure to let me know.

The best one has a picture of a president on it or Ben Franklin. Year after year, people have been going into hock over the Christmas season. The best bet is, look into your wallet. If it ain't there, don't buy it.

ATM cards should be used if you are one of those who don't pay off the balance every month.

Think before you buy.

none...cash only gifts that keeps you from overspending and crying after the new year gets here, when you've found out how much deeper in debt you are. make your list out, set an amount and keep that amount in mind when shopping. Christmas comes once a year, but if you are like me...the bills come every month.
