You need to call the vet you will be using and ask!!!!!!!!! It can vary from vet to vet, so call and find out what it costs and what age they want to do it. Most have you call the day the litter is born.
Better start preparing NOW!!!

Yup. Call the vet. And realize that it needs to be done, that is if you can find one that still do it, within 3-5 days of being born. If you have a vet, take mom and pups in to be checked right after birth to make sure everyone is ok. They can give you all the info with prices at that time and probably even schedule the appt.

Years ago my vet charged $7 per tail and $10 for the dew claws.
This was about 15 years ago.
Not sure now but it should not be really expensive.
Ask your vet how much and when he wants to do them. Each vet is different about how many days old they need to be.
Take them in to the vets in a box or crate and do not let anyone but the vet handle them and do not expose them to any other dogs.

Not sure about the cost, consult local vets in your area. Some will even go to your house and do it on site. The procedures MUST be done 2-3 days after birth, and requires a few stitches.

It depends on where you live... Try the yellow pages and phone around. Sometimes the vets all 'fix' a price, and sometimes they don't. Too bad you're not in Mexico where it's very reasonable.

my vet charges $5.50 per puppy, $2.50 each for dews and $3.00 each for tails. No office visit, but every vet is different.

I think in the UK docking is illegal except for working dogs. Besides, never do it unless for that reason, it's just not neccessary and it is becoming more and more popular at dog shows to have humane, undocked dogs.

Pick up your phone and shop around, that's the best way to find out.

Tails should only be docked for health reasons, not for fashion.
