The whole book of Isaiah rocks. And of course the end of Revelation.

BUT--we wouldn't be anywhere without the Passion and Resurrection, so that's gotta be tops!!

Someone already said it, the prodigal son. I like the entire book of Luke.

I also like the contest between Elijah and Ahab (?) over whose God was stronger.

Ever read Revelation when, um ... not completely sober? Trippy to say the least.

The story of Joseph. It makes me cry every time I read it. What he went through for 14 years, how badly he was treated, how God turned everything around for him and made him ruler of Egypt, and then how Joseph extends forgiveness to his brothers- it is an extraordinary story of love and faith, and overcoming adversity.

When Peter wants to walk on water with Jesus. That's my favorite story. Man, that guy was tenacious! He was the first to truly recognize Jesus for who he really was. A fallible as he was, he was a truly spirited man--I totally adore him!

Let's see, there's the story about man being created before plants and then plants being created before man, how rabbits chew their cud, the slaughter of innocents, the millions of people god murdered in the ot, the dragons, unicorns, and other magical creatures (where is Hagrid when you need him), gee there are just so many....
