I move on. If you don't have trust, you don't have a relationship.

Actually, like someone said above, this is a trait of an abusive personality. Yes, he might seem funny and confident at times, but he has major issues brewing. People do not grow out of this easily; even when they reach adulthood. You will become more or less of a victim if you keep dating him, which might sound "funny" because he might seem like an innocent "kid" to you, but you do not need the drama. A person with an abusive personality is constantly giving you messages regarding how "bad" or "wrong" you are, no matter how subtle. Read the definition of an abusive personality below (there are two links), and then remember to go ahead and be friends with but never date these people in the future.

Break up. Why would you want to stay in that kind of relationship? Relationship are built on trust and if the guy doesn't trust you or believe anything you say, he's not worth your time. You wouldn't want to go any farther with that kind of relationship because it's emotionally tiring and it'll just eat you away in the inside trying to make him believe you and trust you.

Have you done something to loose his trust, or has he just never believe you? Just think about that with an open mind, but if there's nothing you've done then he probably just has some trust issues & those never really go away. If that's the case, you should end it right there. It's not worth the heartache.

Trust takes time to build. If he doesn't seem to trust you, it indicates insecurity in himself. Tell him how you feel, show him how he distrust you, call him on it and see how he reacts. If he tries to change the habits, he's a keeper. If he shoots back at you, it's time for a new boyfriend. But don't expect him to change overnight, chances are he's been hurt before, and doesn't want to be hurt again, which is understandable.

You can't have any kind of relationship without trust. He sounds very jealous, controlling, maybe paranoid, and like he will be a big problem and maybe a threat to you. I'd drop him right now. There are plenty of fish in the sea, really.

sweetie I was in a relationship like that for a year and a half and all I was doing by being in that relationship was hurting myself. i stayed because I thought i could show him that he could trust me,i thought I could prove it to him but no matter what you do or say he'll never believe you. It's just cuz he's insecure and trying to break down your self esteem so your at his level. I hate to see that happen to anyone.

The obvious question is why does he no longer trust you? Based on the situation will determine an appropriate response.

Since you left no facts, I assume he doesn't trust you because of something you have already done. If that's the case, you just have to wait and hope for the best. If it is him, get rid of him.
