As little as possible. Yahweh is anxious to deal with it too.

Probably not much will result from it. The red cross was investigated a couple years ago and only got a handslap. If you go to ministrywatch.com(the ones who are complaining)they don't even list any of these ministries in the top ten. It's apolitical year and they are only playing politics. The average buisness is ruthless compared to these minstries. One soul is worth more than all the riches of the world. And these ministries are winning souls. Copeland has a jail ministry in over 20 states approved by the government. Hinn is winning muslims to Christ all over the arab world. Meyer is helping men and women in personal disciplines. Creflo is a big inspiration for blacks and the Whites are rehabbing many substance abusers and prostitutes who were molested as children. Their work...PRICELESS!!!!!

Although I totally disagree with how these Evangelist used its members tithes, the government has established a great business for today's church. Separation of state and church, has allowed the church in Alabama to vote against the lottery, allowed churches to avoid taxation, allowed today's pastors, reverends, priests, etc to avoid getting an formal education to properly teach religious doctrine (not a calling ?), and allowed criminals to prey on members money, commit crimes, abuse children, and benefit by buying millions of dollars of personal property. If half of its members took a hard look, as well as a careful listen to any religious person, the churches would not over flow to 5000 plus members. I believe in GOD and he has carried me through some very hard times without me giving away my house, pay check, and common sense. Whenever money comes from someones mouth every second, beware. But, as a Christian, raised Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist, I hope that the Government is not on a witch hunt to destroy them. If you don't know this... anyone can call into the FBI and say something and have an investigation launched.. whether there's truth or not. Its quite expensive and painful if you happen to be innocent.

Who's doing the investigating?

If this is true, it seems the investigation surrounds many who are in the "Apologetics" section of the Christian book stores. I'd like to know the outcome. Anyway, I think Benny Hinn has been investigated for YEARS.

For me, CRS (Christian Research Institute, www.equip.org) has been the BEST organization for me to understand Biblical truths, as they relate to what I heard somebody say. They never talk "bad" about the people. Rather, they put what evangelists say to the test... testing it against God's Holy Word. And only stating the FACTS. I like it as a reference point, when I don't understand what somebody has said.

I think it's high time people accepted that they are frauds who are getting very rich by capitalizing on the fears and hopes of susceptible people. CBC aired an excellent documentary about Benny Hinn, exposing him when he made a summer trip to Toronto, Canada this year. Hopefully more will be exposed soon.

Now why would you want to disparage them. They are only preaching Gods word aren't they. (The fruits of Sola Scriptura). They just interpit the scripture a little different than you. So who are you to say their wrong I mean they speak in tongues and get words of wisdom just like you and even speak directly to god and Jesus and are answered are you. Or are you looking to start a counter protestant against Protestant new reformation or something
Aren't they entitled to interpit the bible anyway they wish they are Pastors Ministers Profits Teachers and Apostles aren't they. In fact this is the year of seven its in Jobe don't you know so you have to send a gift of 70, 700, 7000 or any combination of seven to get your reward and become prosperous don't you know your not supposed to be poor .

It's sad because it seems as if the investigators are trying to discredit the work that these people have done in the name of God. However, if they are committing fraud or any other crime, then they need to answer for it. God always says that we should obey the law of the land, if they believe that they are above the law then they are sadly mistaken and need to pay for it.

The same way I answer the question "What do you call 100,000 lawyers drowned in the Atlantic?"

A good start, but nowhere nearly enough...

My question is, how are these scum any different than the preacher with his magic money plate in the church you've probably got down the block? The only difference is one of degree, these people are just making so much they've caught the attention of the government who must have it's share of the profits...

I am not a follower of any of those Evangelists but you can be sure,,,the media will get all the juice they can out of this...they love it when a Ministry looks like it will fall..

There are just as many Secular Organizations with questionable bookkeeping but the Media doesn't talk about that....

I do find it interesting that Pentecostal Organizations are the ones being looked at.....why do they fear Pentecostals so much....Has anyone ever checked out Billy Graham's Organization,,,no, and they won't either.
