I don't think I'd smack any of them for this simple reasons: It is easy for we to judge these people looking back. We can see the sin of David, the unbelief of Israel, the anger of Moses and we can comment about their mistakes and their sins.

But who among us can say we might not fall into the same sin were we in that place and that time? Who is to say that, were we to walk in their shoes, someone else would not want to come back and slap us?

Let's learn from their mistakes... but let's NOT judge them. Let's leave that to the perfect Judge and our Advocate, Jesus Christ.

Jezebel - power hungry murderess who ruled in tyranny
Judas Iscariot - Betrayed Jesus for 40 pieces of silver
Pontius Pilot - cruel and cowardly. Rome later removed him from power because even they deemed him too cruel. Now that says a lot.

If I had that power, I wouldn't use it to smarten up a Bible character. I'd use to go back to myself, and smack me for that time a cute girl gave me a potted plant.

"She's interested in you, you schmuck!! Ask her out!!!"

And that's just one of the many stupid things and missed clues I've had that I'd remedy if I could.
