You are correct. The responder who says that if you're self-employed, your commuting expenses are deductible, is wrong. And attorney's fees for a divorce are not deductible unless part of the fee is stated separately as for tax advice, then that part would be.

3. no- just like a yard sale, you're just getting rid of stuff. Realestate property is different.

5. no... attorney fees only when you win money (as a cost).
