I've tried pretty much the same things that you have. And, you know what I've come to a conclusion with? None of those things work. But here's what works. Neutrogena came out with this product that is fairly new and it works wonders on my skin, it's called Neutrogena Oil-Free Oil-Free Acne Stress Control, 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment. Here's a picture of what it looks like: http://a1468.g.akamai.net/f/1468/580/1d/pics.Drugstore.com/prodimg/163358/300.jpg incase you wanted to know when looking for it. It can be found in any local drugstore. I use that once in the morning and once at night, every day.
Also, once a week I make my own facial mask using warm plain oatmeal and honey. I leave it on my face for about 45 minutes to and hour and it leaves it feeling smooth and also to my firm belief helps acne scars fade.
Also, if you have acne scars, you can get the Neutrogen Acne Mark Fade & Peel, works wonders.

Why not talk to your OB-GYN? Sometimes hormones play a MAJOR role in acne. Especially at your age. I had acne in college as bad as I had it in high school. I have a hormone imbalance. Getting my hormones regulated and getting sugar out of my diet really helped. (I had a yeast imbalance in my system. Skipping sugar and processed grains really cleared up my skin fast.) I sometimes eat sugar and bad carbs now, and am about to go back on a sugar-free (sweetener-free) diet. It is really the best way I found to keep my acne away. I'm 36, BTW. You'd think I'd be done with acne. But a hormone balance almost never "goes away".

My son's regular doctor put him on a topical antibiotic which worked very well. DO NOT touch your face during the day since we pick up bacteria everywhere and this is the main culprit of acne. Also, each night wash your face with a gentle soap like Dove; rinse and wash again. You don't usually have to buy alot of acne medicines.

Arbonne has an amazing Acne Clear Advantage skin care line. It clears up your skin naturally. Here is a quote from Arbonne's website:

"I have battled acne for about 10 years. I started using Arbonne Clear Advantage about nine months ago and my complexion has improved 110%! I’m pleased that after nine months of use, I’ve outdone nine years of trial and error with other products. Thank you!"

Dont feel like you are alone. I am 40 and still prone to getting acne. Cant say I am as diligent as you are about your health, but I still get them. I have used just about everything out there and it helps during breakouts, but does not keep them from coming back.

I think just about everyone I know is more prone to getting them. Maybe has something to do with more stress, dirtier environment, crappy fast food lifestyle.

Sorry this is not help, just empathy for you. Look on the bright side, I assume you have an oily complexion. People with oily complexion will look younger as they age

My friend had bad skin and he, just like you, treied everything on the market, so he went to his regular doctor and the doctor prescribed him face pads that he wipes his face with twice a day and then he gave him medication [a pill that he took once a day]which has cleared up his skin great, it just takes like three weeks for the medicine to take effect but it was all worth it!

When I was in high school I had a problem with acne. My mom would buy some strawberrys and soak them in vinegar for an hour. Then she would mash the stawberrys in the vinegar. She would have me put the mixture on my face and back at night and wash it off in the morning. It helped me!!!

Go to your family doctor. She can prescribe you something. My sister had bad acne, and nothing worked for her. She didn't want to spend big bucks on a dermatologist, so she just went to her doctor. She gave her a cream that cost $50 but insurance paid for it. Her skin is beautiful now. She got the cream at the beginning of the summer.

It could be a food allergy. Cut out all wheat products and soy. Google soy and wheat allergies and sites will come up. Also cut out ALL processed food, choc. soda, chip crackers, bread....sounds crazy but I had the same problem and this completely helped. Use good products. Murad is really good. Kinda pricey.
