I've always been the good kid, I'm 16 and I've only kissed two girls and done nothing more than that. I've never drank alchol and never done any type of drug, I've never broken a law, I've never even gotten a detention! I really dont wish to start doing anything illegal, but it is more about my social life, it seems as if the kids who do this are the ones who have the most fun and get the most girls. And naturally since I am a nice, by the book guy (because that's how I was raised), but yet I'm told that I am a good looking person (I get mistake for numerous famous actors), girls use me and stomp all over me and make me feel bad. So basically what type of things do I need to do to become more of a person who doesnt get stomped on by pretty girls and who doesnt get treated poorly by girl, and gets the girls that he wants to be with? No just the ones that want to be with him. Thanks.

Relax; you are who you are, and it sounds like you're fine. It feels terribly important right now, but really you're just getting started in this whole dating thing. Try real hard to be patient and just look for girls who like you. Doing stupid stuff to be popular costs you more in the long run than any short-term benefit you may hope to get. OK, that's got my fatherly stuff out of the system (In MY day, we suffered agonies every day! We had to walk twenty miles uphill to have girls spit on us and then run us over with their cars!) Teenage girls are practicing for the real thing, which means going through teenage boys like wildfires go through southern California in the autumn. You just have to hang in there until they start calming down in their twenties, and enjoy whatever attentions you get in the meantime, while trying real hard not to take it as seriously as your hormones are screaming at you to. At least you'll learn to take an emotional stomping and come out of it OK, right? That's a useful life lesson. A big lesson - don't hold a grudge; today's stomper is tomorrow's cuddly doll!

The ones that look like they're having fun probably aren't having as much fun as they make it seem. Come senior year, most of these kids will be secretly envious of the kids that studied hard and kept out of trouble because they'll be applying to college aka the real word and will realize none of the activities they've done are impressive on a resume.

There's no need to do anything illegal. Join some school clubs. Attend school events. Go to some school dances and just have fun and dance. Try talking to people more.

And don't let anyone use you. People usually know when they're being used. So just don't let it happen, it's that simple. There's no need to be suspicious of every girl, though.

Btw, I'm a girl and when I was 16 I always wanted a nice guy but figured I couldn't find them because they were all on their computers. ;-)
