if it were something physical, something tangible, we'd have evidence of it. we don't....so it must be metaphysical.....so how does it stay in our body?

In people's imaginations.
The soul is just a superstition. It doesn't really exist. People like to believe that we somehow live on after we die, because the thought that we just stop existing is unpleasant and hard to imagine. The truth is, though, that when we die, we're just dead.

The Soul makes up the Mind, Desire, Will, therefore, I'd say that the seat of the Soul is the Brain. I think.

It's a symbol refering to parts of our brain, specifically the frontal lobe that controls features of our personality. We do have evidence of it; we can see how drugs and damage alter our brain and "soul". We can also measure brain activity.

You know that little dimple where the neck meets the chest? That is where it is supposed to be. But humans evolved and no longer have a soul.
