Every generation of humans believed it had all the answers it needed, except for a few mysteries they assumed would be solved at any moment. and they believed their ancestors were simple and deluded. so, what are the odds that we are the first generation to truly understand reality?

Almost nothing.

Just look at history: every generation says to itself, "THOSE people back then were primative and unlearned and out of touch with the truth. Thank God WE are now advanced enough not to believe their foolishness."

And the next generation will say that about us.

And the one after that will say that about them.

Etc, ad astra.

About the same as my generation thinking we were - or the one before us. May I hazard a guess - are you 15? That is usually the "Why is everyone so stupid except us" age. Just asking. Besides, last time I checked, there were still a lot of mysteries out there, my friend. So what if a generation 600 years from now - or 60 - finally does understand all of reality? Then they will start working on the supernatural...again, just like the last time humans thought they had all the answers. It just takes one extra unexpected answer to start the cycle over, though, doesn't it?

the reality revolution really started in the 60's when people started realizing altered states of conciousness could bring them closer, but it was really just a re-discovery of ancient wisdom that has been handed down throughout the years.
Indigo children are the next small evolutionary step, and since human form is perfectly physically symetrical and evolved physically to the top, we can only evolve our conciousness, and the more our conciousness evolves the closer we come to understanding reality because our conciousness is what MAKES reality

What makes you think that this generation truly understands reality?

There is significant evidence that some ancient cultures had a better grip on some of the more esoteric concepts of reality than we do.

That's funny. Not only are you suggesting there's a whole generation out there that may truly understand reality... you almost sound like you think you do~! Pass that peace pipe over here!

i dont think any generation will truly understand reality. reality is a vast thing to comprehend, it is endless and tricky. what we think to be reality could be the opposite of what reaity actually is. what if this is simply a pigment of our imagination. even this generation seems to find that a plausable idea, look at the movie Matrix, it addresses reality directly. i dont think we will ever understand what reality really and truly is.

DUDE, i am assuming you were born after 84 right? we are the INDIGO CHILDREN!!! our genetic code is slightly mutated from the previous generations such that we have 15-20 points higher for average IQ and we are able to digest junk food much more easily among numerous other subtle changes. we also have a innate understanding of the world, and are generally more accepting of varied points of view.

it is my belief that the generation just leaving highschool right now will be the ones to introduce us to the true concept of Global Universal Love, and be the ones to usher us in to the new age of peace.

i would say the odds are nearly 100%. my evidence? just talk with a teenager! youll see what im talking about, i promise!

As others have voiced: slim to non-existent odds.

If we were anywhere even close to 1% in terms of understanding we would all be prancing around in a utopia without all of the modern day bloodshed, hatred and religious gibbering.

Zero. We dont even understand how octopi change colors. We dont know how fireflys work. We dont even know if time is a dimension or not. We dont know if there is life on other planets, we dont know if we a a microspecies in a mega universe. We dont know how to simulate human blood, we dont know how to cure the common cold. We dont understand the human genome very well, we cant cure diabetes or cancer. We cant figure out how to regenerate limbs athough we know we have the mechanism. I think we are a nascent generation and there is much to know and learn.
