Generally, getting past the first interview means that you have established that you have the basic qualifications. In other words, you have the right skills and/or experience to do the job. A second interview will often focus more on how good a fit you would be for the company/job. Personality, worth ethic, enthusiasm, people skills, stuff like that. The fact that you have been invited back for a second interview is great -- don't be afraid to let your excitement show when you go back!

Normally, after the first interview, they select some of the best candidates for a "short-list". These are invited back for a second interview, before someone is actually offered the job. Looks as though you're in with a chance, so good luck!

I've never had a 2nd interview and not gotten the job. I think it's a good sign that they're really considering you. You'll probably get the job. Good Luck.

Its a good sign. Usally this means that they want to hire you or the manager is seeking more feedback to help them make their decision. The second interview is key. You either get the job or lose it to someone else.

The first interview is usually to weed out the non- qualified.
Once they have a pool of likely candidated, then comes the 2nd interview.
It is definately a good sign.Hopefully, by the end of the day, there;ll be a big smile on your face.
