To think our policy makers were about to act on such things as carbon credits and CO2 emmission standards that would deny economic development.

At least the consensus has shifted to an agreement that CO2 emmissions aren't contributing to climate change.

Why do you think the consensus has shifted... What major event has happened which might change so many opinions overnight? You can put it in additional details...I would be interested.

FOX information isn't a sturdy source. besides...you would be worried somewhat approximately starting to be sea stages and that an iceberg the size of Luxembourg that has broken off from a glacier in Antarctica. I even have continuously believed in being arranged for any eventuality. have faith or have not got faith, in easy terms attempt to no longer rigidity human beings to do the two. BTW. Weather Channel founder John Coleman says global warming ‘peril’ is an appalling scam
John Coleman, founder of cable television’s The Weather Channel, is a meteorologist. On the “Ice Cap” blog, he describes the alarm over global warming as “the greatest scam in history.”

Coleman writes:

I do not oppose environmentalism. I do not oppose the political positions of either party. However, Global Warming, ie Climate Change, is not about environmentalism or politics. It is not a religion. It is not something you “believe in.” It is science; the science of meteorology. This is my field of life-long expertise. And I am telling you Global Warming is a non-event, a manufactured crisis and a total scam. I say this knowing you probably won’t believe a me, a mere TV weatherman, challenging a Nobel Prize, Academy Award and Emmy Award winning former Vice President of United States. So be it.

I have read dozens of scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct. There is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril. …

In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious. As the temperature rises, polar ice cap melting, coastal flooding and super storm pattern all fail to occur as predicted everyone will come to realize we have been duped.

My friend and I were having the global warming arguement. He insists that humans have little to no impact on the earth, and because of that - how could we possably be causing global warming .... to him and everyone else:

The rainforest is being cut down ..... hmmmm - some impact

There is a nice large brown cloud over my city - hmmmm - some impact

How do these idiots survive?

Climate change is happening, but it isn't entirely our fault.
The models may be falling apart a bit, but there will be others.
Regardless of the cause, climate change is serious and we need to start planning ahead for it.
Yes, Global Warming has been used by many to profit from the general public. It angers me, but I also have to realize that there is a lot of validity to some of the claims.

Wow! Look at the name calling here. It's clear that this is the only tactic they have since they can't argue the facts.

The models never were correct, they were all flawed, written to support a conclusion, not to analyze data.

Like Mann's "hockey stick" that manipulated inputted data to provide a "hockey stick" even with random numbers.

The data is now clear, the majority of scientist now support the SGW or Solar Global Warming theory.

The arguments that support global warming have fallen apart? That's news to me, academia ...and all of the media stations who have now finally come to realize the truth and importance of going green.

Dude you can't get people to give up their crazy religion that easily but I do agree that Global Warming is a Hoax.

Of course you are right about the models falling apart but they will never believe you cause it is the foundation of their religion.

and all this based on a statement from an old demented and stubborn old man that learned about the weather and forecasting when relatively nothing was known about it

he was the person to look to for weather forecasting in HIS DAY, but his day has come and gone, and he hasn't kept up with the technology, and information that is now available to us

and if you don't know what old man i'm talking about you shouldn't be talking about something you know nothing of
