Who is Christian?

Are all denominations that disagree with you not Christian? Do you just pick and choose which are and which are not?

One who believe in personality of Jesus and reject his message. Those who accept the message of so called st. paul.

You could address this question to any religion for Christianity: If you hold to the core beliefs than you are a Christian--some people will differ on them so that makes it cofusing.

My opinion if you hold to:

Diety of Christ
Justification by Faith Alone


You are probably a Christian.

There can be a lot of other arguments I know, but those are what I consider the core two beliefs.

I am A Christian. I put my faith in Jesus Christ and I believe that He died for me.

It's not a Matter of Denominations that do not agree not being Christian. I would suggest that you read your Bible. You will find that anything that is not in line with God's teaching is False Doctrine.

2 Timothy 3:16 -17 Says, All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Just read your Bible. The answers you search for are in there.

If the denominations believe in and preach the gossip of Jesus, believe He was born from a virgin, believe Him to be the Messiah, believe He died on the cross for the sins of the world, and rose from the grave, believe he is the son of God, and the Bible is the perfect words of God...Christian....If the denomination does not believe in or preach one of these things...not Christian.

My guess is that anyone who believes/accepts that Jesus is their Savior, and who also believe him to be the Son of God (Trinity).

I'm not Christian, let alone religious. This is just my understanding of the very basics of Christianity.

I am a Christian and I can honestly say that most, if not all, other Christian denominations would denounce my faith. However, it is not for me to judge the faith of another.

but when you ask, who is christian, and refer to the true saved you are referring to the mystical body of Christ

those are only and exclusively those who have accepted Jesus Christ as savior, as LORD.

most people think they are christian, but only Jesus puts his seal on those who are his,

many when they die, do not understand why they are going to hell, for they do all the right things, say all the right things and yet are lost.

in neglecting Jesus and his offer of salvation, they lose it all

A Christian is defined as one who follows the teachings of Christ. It is plain and simple. If one doesn't follow what Christ teaches in His word, the bible, then they are not Christian.
That is why there are so many 'false' Christians...they declare themself as being a Christian...yet don't even know the teachings of Christ nor follow them....go figure....Just going to church service once a week does not make one a Christian.
