Chicken Soup Brand

I know all these answer are on the same line.
I not familiar with any of these brand . If you live in a feed store or even if your local store sells p.m.i ( I'm not sure what it will cost in your area.) that a good brand. I think though the Purina pro plan is the closes though!
What you really want to look for though is if the FIRST ingredient is chicken. That is a must. Look to see if it shows the size of the food on the bag. Make sure there small.
You may have to try many brands. Some dogs like the taste others won't touch it.
When you give the pup her food boil some water with about five pebbles of food in it. Once it comes to a boil. Pour it over the rest of puppy food. Let it sit and cool completely. Them mix with a fork to loosen it.
You should set!! Good Luck!!

I think the Nutro, Chicken soup or Royal canin would be the best of the group. Good luck with your puppy, cocker's are so sweet.

You should check the ingredients listing on the bag. If corn is one of the top ingredients it's a food to avoid.

Also, with an 8 week old puppy, if feeding dry food, you may want to soften it some with water at first. Please do not use milk. Wet dog food (canned also can cause issues with teeth/gums in the long term.)

My vote goes to Chicken Soup brand. Hands down, it's the best choice of those you listed.

---

Here are the first 5 ingredients (in the sake of saving space) in the foods you listed:

Nutro natural Choice:
Chicken Meal, Ground Rice, Rice Flour, Rice Bran, Dried Plain Beet Pulp

Purino Pro Plan:
Chicken, brewers rice, poultry by-product meal, corn gluten meal, whole grain wheat

Iams:
Chicken, Corn Meal, Ground Whole Grain Sorghum, Chicken By-Product Meal, Fish Meal

Chicken Soup:
Chicken, turkey, chicken meal, ocean fish meal, cracked pearled barley

Royal Canin:
Chicken meal, brown rice, chicken fat, rice, corn gluten meal

---

Chicken Soup brand has the highest meat content and the least amount of grains and fillers.

Nutro, Pro Plan. or Chicken soup. I would go with any of those we had a litter of puppies and fed Pro Plan and they are doing very well on it. Nutro is also very good food. And We use to feed Chicken soup but our dogs got bored with it but it is a very good feed.

My Mom is almost addicted to reading dog food labels. She really loves her dogs, and is always trying to find out what is the best dog food she can get (although she can't afford the VERY good brand either). She thinks the Chicken Soup Brand is the best out of the ones that you named. They have the best ingredients out of them all.
She uses Science Diet and likes that a lot. I don't know if that would be much more expensive, but it, too is really good dog food.
