When did you find your love and how did you meet? Details please

I met mine on the internet. We actually met in a league playing Canasta in Yahaoo Games. He joined the league that I was in and we hit it off right away. We talked for months but we both had alot going on in our lives and we kind of had to back away...........after about 8 months ( a very hard 8 months, I missed him so bad) we both had gotten some things straightened in our lives and in a position where we could do something about our feelings and work it out. I was in Texas, he was in Scotland)
We started talking again and all in all, minus the 8 months we talked online and by phone for 3 years.
On September 20, 2004 he flew to Texas......we met for the first time face to face at the Airport when I went to pick him up. On Sept 29, 2004 we were married and on November 29, 2005 our beautiful baby girl was born.
We have been married now for a little over 3 years and it is totally awesome. It's had it's rough spots, but it's been worth every single bit of it for the good stuff :)

After my husband passed away I despaired of ever finding another love. They say you have only one true love but I have to disagree because I've had 2.
My current husband and I have known each other since the first grade, we never dated, were never really friends in school other than to say hi or wave in the hall.
In 2002 several people from high school had an impromptu reunion. He was there. We talked and laughed as a group and exchanged email addresses and phone numbers. We started emailing and playing online games and we sure freaked alot of people out by being together for our 20 year high school reunion. We now have a 3 year old son :)

We met at work. He had a girl at the time, but it ultimately did not work out, and we started seeing each other unofficially. He was a lot of fun, and I was happy to have him as a friend. Two months later, I found a new job, and a few weeks after that, we were together. It has not been easy; there were a few things standing in our way, but we've made it this far, and it's fantastic!

I met mine at work. He had just moved down here with some friends and started working there. A friend of mine and myself had been eyeing him for about a week and I finally decided to go for it. Gave my number to him through a mutual co-worker and he called me that night. (I was just looking for a one night stand really) but I asked him out for dinner after work the next day. We went out.. saw a movie.. and sat and talked for 4hrs straight. It was the best date I have ever been on, there wasnt one moment of ackward silence. 4 months later we were engaged. We've been married 6 months now and I am completely happy. He is my best friend, and not many can say that and mean it. I look forward to waking up to him every morning and going to bed with him every night.

i met him at a dance, around march, but even though he insisted in dancing i denied him the dance. at least once a month i would go to the same club and see him and he would keep asking and me saying no. until around august i finally broke the ice and the rest was history. we were married for 10 years, had three kids and now he's in heaven.

I was 12 and he was 20 and his parents bought a summer place near my parents summer place. When I was a teenager and he was in his early 20's we dated brother and sister Jimmy and Carolyn for the same amount of time. Jimmy and I weren't old enough to be in the pool by ourselves so he would watch us so we could go in. We weren't old enough to drive at first so he and Carolyn would drive us.

My parents sold the place and so did his. 12 yrs later I went up for a reunion weekend and his parents had retired up there and within 20 minutes of my arriving I heard my Dad say, "Hey Peter, how are you?". I looked up, he looked at me and said "Hi", I stopped breathing and my life changed.

We now have a beautiful little 3 yr old boy and I am lucky that my parents made me go to the reunion when I didn't want to.
