Mine worked out great. We are exclusivley seeing each other now and he is the best friend that I have ever had. You just have to find a way to keep your feelings out of it, unless its there for both of you. If you are only going to mess around dont get to know him or the things going on in his life. Go there just for the sex and leave immediately after. If I were you I wouldnt talk on the phone just txt and ask if the other wants some show up do your thing and leave. Dont allow yourself to stay the night with him, talk much to him, or get to know too much of him or his friends.

it can work great but it really depends on the situation. for example if it's someone you were in a relationship with but it didn't work out, and you both know that and that you wouldn't get back together then it can be ok, but if it's with someone you've always just been friends with then I wouldn't have thought it was a good idea as one of you could end up having more feelings than the other.

i don't like friends with benefits because you may tend to catch feelings and maybe get jealous if he opens a new relationship. or he might get jealous if you do.
