I've searched everywhere locally and on the internet and cannot seem to find a handset cord for a telephone (the coiled one with RJ9 connectors I believe) anywhere. Does anyone know of a place I can get a longer one? 30' - 50' would work perfectly.

Or can you make one with regular telephone wire? Would I just buy some RJ9 connectors and crimp it the same way as an RJ11?

Thanks for the help!

WHY???

i would not recommend using a LINE CORD any longer then 25ft, why in the world would you want the coil cord (which gets more stress then a line cord) so long?

cheap cordless phones are readily available... and if your phone is too far away from where you want to be able to use it, then why not add a new jack closer to where you intend to use the phone..

i could use heavy duty extension cords; 2400 is a lot o' watts. skinny cords might desire to no longer be able to deal with the burden for long without burning up! yet why do you like a heater? it is summer season right here on the sea coast! LOL

I've never seen anything longer than 25' - but you can buy extender cables...

These are normally used to add length to the cable that connects the phone to wall - I don't see why you can't use one of those on your Handset cord. They use the same connectors ;););)

there is a reason why you cant find one long......! it compromises the phone quality with such a long cord!!! so 25 ft. is the max!!!
