I know people have their own views about modelling, however I want my son to be a catalodue/magazine model, I also know that every parent thinks their child gorgeous. I know that my son has what it takes to be a model and loves to pose for the camera. He will still be a child and have a normal childhood like any other. I just need some tips on how to go about finding a genuine agency. I'm not intersted in comments about what people think is right or wrong (sorry to sound rude but i've read some other comments which just don't help!). All money that my son earns will go into his own bank account to hopefully provide him with a good start later in life.

I personaly think that this is the knind of decision that should be made by your son when he is old enough. You say you want to provide him with a good start in life, educate him, teach him that in this ever increasing superfical world, talent, determination, love and ability outshines all. I don't think this is your decision to make becasue, if you do, you at least have to be big enough to face the fact that you are selling your childs image. He isn't just a body, (you more than any body knows that) he is so much more, let him find out as well.

I can"t really help you with legit model agencies. Just be sure that any agency you go to doesn't nickle and dime you.Too many agencies will take everybodies $ and tell you what you want to hear. Just be careful and don't get carried away. Any legit agency won't charge you for all of those extras.

Don't go with agencies. most of them are rip-offs. Have you ever sent your child's pucture to Parent's Magazine? They are always looking for kids.

If the agency wants you to pay upfront - its a scam.
Other than that, I don't know how you can find a good agency.

Same answer I gave you when you posted this a few hours ago: be warned, many modeling agencies are scams.
