Most females I know, including me (I am 30) are alot closer to their mothers, and their fathers are someone they only talk to at family visits. I personally love my mother alot more than my dad. Daughters will never call to just talk to dad. The same was especially true when we were teens (teen girls when I grew up).... so Daughters, do you love your mothers better than your fathers?

I'm always good to my family, it's them that take advantage of me at time's. Not all the time because they know I have my limits on a lots of stuff. I give what I can and I don't give what I can not give them. I tell them how much I love and appreciate what they do. My 22 year old has done a lot for me and I have done a lot for her as well. I have a 9 year old and she too does a lot for me and still learning the routine on a Lot's of stuff. If for any reason I get upset at my 9 year old then I sit down and talk to her and let her know how I feel, same goes for my eldest daughter. I don't treat any one different. Although everyone has their own personality, that is something different from scolding a child then knowing how they act as a person. I have two grand-daughters and I love them very much and I tell them every time I see them. And before we go to bed we would give a group hug and sing Barney song I LOVE YOU. This song has been going strong for 22 years and it'll never stop, not as long as we keep it going strong. And your right every parent should show their child their loving and affection. Cause without that love they will never know how it feels coming from from their parent. And were not saying every parents doesn't participate, but their is a lot of kids that never experienced it either. So give a kid a hug and kiss just because.

I'd have to say that I am a lot closer to my mom. My parents are divorced and because of certain reasons didn't really talk much to my dad growing up, as a matter of fact my mother gave me away at my wedding even though my father was there. But my dad is trying to make up for lost time and loves hanging out with my daughters. But I can definentaly say I am my mothers daughter.

Different for me. I LOVE my Father more than I do my Mother.
He was the one that braided my hair.
He taught me how to cook.
He was a very insightful man.
He is a cool dad.
I miss him terribly.

I have never been comfortable in conversation with my Mother. We didn't have that great Mother & Daughter type relationship that most people have. We don't talk much at all. Instead my Father took on that role. So I grew up being closer to him, I confided in him, he was very understanding, doesn't judge my actions and I am so grateful to have such a wonderul Father.

Picking from the lessor of two evils, I'd say I love my mother more. Being raised in the 70's, parents weren't that involved and they certainly weren't worried about winning any "great parent of the year" awards.

Now that they're divorced, I have to call and see them equally, but yea, when they were together I guess I never called for my dad.

I a 37 year old female btw

Both love you a lot. They take much more care to build your life. They are not less than God for you. In most cases in India son loves mother and daughter loves father. I would like to advice you to love both from the bottom of your heart and see the results in your life.

I wouldnt say love our mothers more then our fathers.. maybe closer to our mothers is more appropriate.. that would be like saying i love one of my children more then the other..i lost my father at 15 and have always wished he would have been here for my wedding day, the birth of my children etc.

I love them both. I like that I can tell my mom more than I can my dad, but then my mom will keep me on the phone forever and that's when I prefer my dad. He lets me be. But if I have a problem, I'm going to Mom! She will fix it. I'm the oldest of seven children by the way - four girls, three boys.
