These can be anywhere on your system! :)

Any executable program (like a game, office application, etc) will end in .exe. You can find these anywhere, including c:\Program Files.

.bat is for batch files. These are utlities or scripts and can also be found anywhere on your system.

Sys files are drivers and other system files. You'll find MOST of these in c:\windows, c:\windows\system, and c:\windows\system\system32, but they will be other places as well.

These files exist everywhere on your computer system. They don't have a set place to live.

WHERE are they?? They can be anywhere! On your hard drive in any folder, on a floppy disk, on a CD/DVD, etc. etc. etc.
