Just this morning, I had a Pecan Braid.
Kind of a pastry crust thing, twisted like Challah bread, only smaller. Some pecan halves are glued on with egg wash, and it's baked for a few minutes to toast the tops of the nuts (so to speak). Then it's drizzled with a glaze made from confectioner's sugar and some lemon juice.
BTW, this was at a cafe/bakery; I know the recipe only because I asked the baker!

Umm... My favourite thing to have with tea (cause I do not drink coffee) is a nice pastry of some sort. Esp if it is a fruit danish.

Ever try "Honey Bunches of Oats".. It's a breakfast cereal.. When eaten dry from a snack, bowl it's delicious
