Absolutely not, why should I be offended?! Is "religious" an insult, or something? Some people get offended over the most rediculous things!

And you say that you are not part of any religion, and yet your screen name suggests you are a christian. That makes no sense, because christianity IS a religion. I don't know where you got the idea that it isn't, it makes no sense.

I will not call myself a Christian, but I do believe in the Bible, so perhaps I am qualified to answer this. I'm not offended, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when someone calls me "religious." It makes me feel as though I've put my beliefs on display or something.

And why do only Atheists have to ignore your question? That's not very nice to say something like that.

No. I'm not Christian, and I've been called Christian, and Religious as well as Crazy, Fanatic, Lunatic, and an (censored)-hole. I couldn't care to spend two braincells on wondering if I dislike or if I'm offended by what somebody else said. We don't have the right to "not" be offended. Just move on and spread peace. Regardless of the label you put on people.

I don't really know what they mean when they say that. I am Christian but I wouldn't consider myself "religious." I believe that my views are correct and don't really concern myself with others beliefs. I don't think living my life the way I was asked by God makes me "religious" because I'm just doing what I am supposed to be doing.
I obviously understand that everyone doesn't share my Christian views and I am fine with that. I doesn't bother me that other people don't share my beliefs that's fine they are in titled to their own opinions. I don't judge people for believing in something totally different even if that means they believe in multiple gods or no God at all. That is their business not mine. When people refer to me as "religious" it makes me feel like they are judging me for believing in God like I am in some type of cult or something.

My never ending motto? "Don't Sweat The Small Stuff!"

People in general will get perturbed by what they do not like or do not agree with. I love The Lord and there are some that just do not like how much In Love with Him I am. Let them call me what they want because the end result is, I am on my way to heaven to be with The Lord and there is NOTHING that is going to stop me!

God Bless you!

When I was a practising and believing Christian I was happy to be called 'very religious'. Why wouldn't I be? I subscribed to the tenets of a religion, therefore I was religious.

No, I like to take it as a compliment. I'm glad when people say I'm religious. That means I'm doing what God wants me to do right. I love God and I'm not ashamed to show it.
The only thing that bothers me is when people mock God.
Before I get offended by anything I take a second and ask myself. Dose this glorify God? If not than I say what I believe.
God bless you.

P.S. I know this is random but I believe that God has called me to be a Christian singer. So rememer this name! (Jessica)

The number of christians who practice no religion is so small that it's a misconception that one needs to overlook. Also, getting offended that someone doesn't guess that you're the exception to a rule is just silly.

No, I wear it with pride, but sometimes I also subconsciusly feel put down and stupid. That's what shrugs and moving on are for. I think feeling stupid is due to rocker's telepathy, but religion truly is a bit square; and that's part of the reason for not being totally comfortable with it.
