Last night I fell asleep. In my dream I was also asleep, I kept on hearing my alarm, radio, and tv all at the same time. I had turned everything off before I went to sleep. So i didnt know how that was happening. I was laying down with my eyes closed in my dream and then I heard steps...like someone dragging their feel while they walk. I was scare and didnt know what to make of it. I opened my eyes but did not turn my head. I looked to the side and saw like figure on my left side of the bed. It was a girl about 10 years of age or less she had long hair and two half ponytails with bangs. Se look transparent and I could only see half of her body the rest was not visible. She noticed I was watching her, an she launched her self at me. I was terrified. I felt so heavy I could not move and I cold not speak. I started to pray and pray, My lil daughter was beside me. She had a fever that night, and I told my self I needed to get that spirit off me for her. I pushed her off me and I woke up.

Dear pangel is right , this was not actually a ghost or spirit. It was definitely an imperfect OBE...sleep paralysis is the first step towards OBE

You were half between the physical and astral world...and the sights and sound were being noticed from both worlds. you met an astral being ....next time dont get scared and you can enjoy more on astral planes... good wishes :)

I too believe there is something about the spirit world. But this might have all been a dream. You woke up twice once was your dream where you push the spirit off you and then you woke up from your dream.
I'll be interested in if this spirit comes back. Just curious how old is your daughter.

I don't believe in ghosts and such. But there is demonic activity. If you are a true believer in Jesus, there is power when you speak His name. I've had a very similair experience. One night I dreamed that two evil men were trying to get into the house in the middle of the day, supposedly to try to rid the house of evil spirits, but I knew if they got in, they were the evil ones. Then it was like I realized I was dreaming, but something was trying to get into me. And no, I'm not crazy. I started saying Jesus, Jesus, Jesus and woke up saying it and felt it leave. Scared the daylights out of me. But I have always been a fearful person and God had delivered me from it once. I guess Satan was on the attack again, trying to make me feel helpless. But God is not the author of fear, and He is all-powerful. There is a story in the Bible about a man who was possessed by legions of demons. He cut himself and wondered around and yelled and cursed. All Jesus had to do was tell the evil spirits to go and they had to obey Him. They left, and the man was delivered. This is not saying that Priests and the like know what they are doing. But anyone who has the true faith in the Savior can call out to Him. Evil also flees from the praises of God. There are times when I feel a bit unsafe in the dark, and I start singing a hymn or whatever and feel better.

So you had a dream, about having a dream? Then in your dream you woke up to see the spirit? So the whole experience was actually a dream?

Dreams are usually, often bizarre, representations of what happened that day, or things going on in your life. I would imagine you were worried about your daughter's health, and you were thinking about here being in bed with you as you fell asleep. Then you brain represented this as a little girl ghost in the room with you in your dream.

as much as i believe in spirits ...
what you seem to have experienced is sleep paralysis
this happens to about 40 % of the population to some degree
our body secretes a hormone prior to dream sleep to stop us acting out our dreams
if we waken too soon or if it is released to early ... then we have this paralysis

it is often accompanied by something called hypnagogic state
which is basically like waking dreams

we can hear things , see things , even feel things
and it all seems so real that people have reported alien abductions , demons , spirits , witches all being in their room

pressure on the chest and difficulty breathing are THE most common reports

Oh my! I think spirits are real. I sure do!

I have had some experiences that remind me of yours. Some times i think im crazy and sometimes i know they are real. It has also come to my attention that certain times things like this happen it actually turns out that i had a premonition of something. I didnt realize it at the time but maybe months later my dream made crystal clear sense to me.

I believe spirits are real and perhaps she was trying to tell you something. Sometimes we fear things that we should not, we have to open are minds to hear what is trying to be told to us. If this happens again I would try to find out what she wants.

Spirits are very real....good spirits will never inflict fear, the bad or evil ones will. My family has all experienced that....actually it ended up calling in people from the church to do exorcisms. I do not want to scare you, but please bring the holy spirit into your home, that is the only way to make it dissappear.
