I agree that the price is a disgrace.

I think they should just lower the price, rather then give it away free to children and OAPs.

£1. is better I think.

They will still make plenty of money because everyone needs toothpaste.

If you go to any of the big supermarkets or Chemists you can buy quite a selection of their own brand toothpastes for much less than that, and the Pound Shops always have tubes for a pound, sometimes, 2 for a pound.
It would have to be gold-plated for me to even consider paying £3 for a tube of tooth paste! The answer is to shop around and don't use big brand names.

If you can't afford kids, then don't have them.

$6 for toothpaste is still cheaper then the dentist office.

Keeps your legs closed if you can't afford to keep the kids teeth clean...

Maybe old people should though.

I hate young families trying to squeeze more and more in the way of benefits though... what next.

the health clinics sell toothbrushes and toothpaste for next to nothing for people of any age while they're on benefits or not

why would it be lowered for children? They don't exactly go into shops and buy it.. I know I don't lol.. the parents do. So I reckon it should be cheaper for everybody to buy.
