so, when I see two girls talking to themselves in a bar I approach them to see if they are open to talking to guys. In a conversation, it's sometimes hard to talk to the one I'm interested in with the friend there. I know girls like to play "matchmaker" so would it be weird if I went up to a 3rd girl in the bar and said , "I like this girl over there but I think her friend might be bored while I'm talking to the one I like; would you mind talking to the friend while I talk to the one I like? Then I would bring the third girl over and introduce her to the girls and resume the conversation with the one I like. Or is it better to talk to the one with the friend listening to what's going on?

Just listen to whats going on first, kinda feel out the situation. see if she is even interested in talking to you. Get the friend involved because the girl will like fact that your involving her friend in the conversation also.

Here is your problem, NO girl will be willing to be your tool in picking up girls, so forget about that. If you like one of the girls, approach them but keep your conversation short. Talk to both of them. If you piss off one, you can kiss your chance goodbye with the other one. Get both of their e-mails and numbers. Send an e-mail to both of them thanking them for taking the time to talk to you. Call the one you like and ask her out. The other one will think you are a gentleman and won't bad mouth you to her friend.

It is a real problem to try to talk to a woman is not alone. And women are almost never alone. Guess why women complain that they don't meet anyone? They go out in groups and then attack any guy who comes over.

However, I think you should go with the boldness and confidence. You might try going up to the woman you like and say "Hi. I'm ... I see you're busy talking with your friend and I don't want to interrupt your girl talk. But I would like to talk to you. I'd like to call you if you'll give me your number." (Or come over when she's free.) Chances are they will go ahead and let you chat her up right there. By acknowledging that she might want to talk to her girlfriend you show respect for her, and make it hard for them to be annoyed. You make it clear which one you are interested in. By being bold and saying "We'll talk later" you show strength and will impress her.

No. If that happened, I would probably assume the third girl was your girlfriend and you were sending her off with my friend so you could hit on me. Let the friend listen; it shows you're confident. If you shoo her off, she might get offended, and if things work out with you and the girl you like, you'll already have an enemy.

no good, find another guy. Girls DO NOT like to talk to other girls, ESPECIALLY in bars, ladies, you agree? Not that I dislike other women, it's just the way we are naturally! Good luck! =)
