How can you not be terrified by this? Is God to blame for the sensationalist media and the human mind that reacts to sensationalism? Is God to blame for making the Great White?

Its the sharks fault for being hungry... and its the persons fault for swimming with sharks...

Um no I think whoever planned the trip or the outing on the honeymoon to go associate with GREAT WHITES OR WHERE THEY HANG OUT is to blame, I really dont see how God had anything to do with that...

See take me for instance, I WANT to swim with sharks on my honeymoon, so were going to go to India and go diving with friendly sharks where a human hasnt been attacked in a century. If they kill me...it must be my time cause I have got to say, when I die, if it was by getting eaten by a great white then that is awesome and there is no better way to go

Please put it on my tombstone...

DIED TRAGICALLY WRESTLING A BABY AWAY FROM A GREAT WHITE

If you're overlooking the Grand Canyon, and your foot slips, and you fall over, would you also blame God for putting a cliff there? If you walk out in the middle of traffic and get plowed over by a truck, would you blame the manufacturer?

I'm not saying it's the surfer's fault at all; it was just a terrible accident. But shark attacks are obviously a known danger in the ocean.

Easily. Those who surf/swim in waters where the sharks live have to know what they might encounter. So it if their choice to go dive, swim, surf, etc in that environment. The shark doesn't quite have a choice of where he lives. We have a choice of where we practice or recreational activities.

When I want to vacation in a place I have never been before, I read about what goes on. If they didn't, it is sad but, can't blame the shark for eating what looks like food. Can't blame whatever deity either. Sometimes, our time to go is just that... and if that person hadn't gone swimming or whatever, they might have slipped in the shower. We can cower and hide but, ultimately when it is out time to go, we go.

It's possible not to blame God because you got in the way of the great white. God gave people minds to think with and to make decisions about what is safe to do and not to do. No way that's his fault when you enter into the great white's hunting ground.

If a person is stupid enough to go swimming in shark infested waters on his wedding night instead of being in bed with his newly wed wife then you want to blame God for creating sharks? What!?!?!

Blame yourself for swimming in shark infested waters. If the shark comes to your house and eats you then you would have a legitimate question. GOD BLESS!!

You cannot blame all your bad actions and mistakes on God. That is how you gain more experience in life and become a stronger person. God can guide u in life.

Since my honeymoon was in New Orleans, if that had happened I probably would have had to consider it.

Now, if an alligator had swallowed me, that wouldn't have been as much of a surprise.
