It's a tough question, but I'd say Muslim fanatics are because mainstream America doesn't take Christianity as seriously as mainstream Islam takes Islam. Islam is more of a problem in Europe where 40% of British Muslims want Sharia law in certain parts of UK and 1/5 Muslims feels sympathy for the 7/7 bombers. The reason it's a tough question is because Christianity is mingling with politics like never before, and it is creating a very dangerous situation. Both religions are problems, and staunch secularism is the answer.

I think that 8 years of George bush unleashing christian Evangelical fanaticism on the United States proves quite empirically just how badly they would like the United states to become a Evangelical theocracy.

Thank God James Dobson and Co (ie all evangelical fanatics) and the Moral Majority (NOT) will never see that day come.

I pray for the rapture everyday so that the rest of us can have some peace and quiet down here.

One weekend without some missionary group on my door with more crap to pass out would sure be nice. Maybe someday when the doorbell rings it will just be the Avon lady again.

Well i think in General, Muslim fanatics are still more dangerous, because most of these people have less education and doesnt have a broader state of mind, considering the fact of what they are doing with their female community and as a proof of what they have done on 9/11, compared to their christian counterparts

I would have to say Muslim fanatics. While Christian fanatics are dangerous, they tend to take hostile/physically violent action against individuals or small groups. However, the radical/fanatical Muslims subscribe to the concept of a holy war and have no problem killing thousands or millions in the name of their God. Also, radical Christians often seem to show either remorse for "having to do what they do" or at least angry justification. Radical Muslims seem to take joy in their actions (just look at the pictures of their happy smiles and celebration after the WTC attacks).

That part that is really sad is that both of these idiotic groups really ruin things for good Christian and good Muslim people who understand the word of their God much better (yes, I know its actually the same God, but they view Him differently).

I'm not Muslim or Christian, but from what I understand, neither religion believes in war, death, and destruction. Muslims also don't believe in "converting" people which is more of a Christian practice...which in and of itself can be offensive and dangerous.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Good question though. Makes people think (hopefully).

The Cristian fanatics bomb abortion clinics etc. but don't think they are as fanatic as the Muslims. They are killing each other every day, if you are from a different tribe you are fair game also if you are white you might be shot first then asked latter if you had changed your mind to become a Muslim fanatic extremist..

Good question. I think it depends on what you are talking about as danger. If you are talking about mass death and destruction than Radical Muslims are more dangerous. I know with that statement some will show Timothy Mcwhatever. The difference is that the Radical Muslim movement is not one or even 10 men. (Disclaimer) this is in regards to fanatical Muslims only, a small portion of the population of that religion.

If you are talking about from a government standpoint, the radical Christians are worse hands down. They follow the parts of their religion that are convenient to them and there policies make the rest of the world not like us.

Muslim fanatics because Christian fanatics will at least draw the line or hesitate at some types of violence they would inflict and the people they would inflict it upon. Not so the Muslim fanatics.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "dangerous."

I would say Christian fanatics are more dangerous that Muslim fanatics in the US but only because they are greater in number and in power.

Obviously, Muslim fanatics are more dangerous in areas like the Middle East.

Why do you leave out the secular fanatics who are truly trying to impringe on everyone else's rights?

Oh, is it because you're trying to justify yourself by labeling others?

Fanatics are a danger, whether they be Christian, Muslim, Jewish or whatever.

And for those of you who choose to reject a higher being. Do you really think the complexities of the universe happened by accident??? That is what you are saying when you say there is no God.
