I think he meant she has fast reaction times, and reacts to things around her, like people smiling or arguing or she knows when she's somewhere different to the norm.
It's certainly a compliment.

ALL of these answers are pretty much correct. However I can't stress enough to you to pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee ask your Dr. questions. Dr's really LOVE questions. Really. I ask my son's Dr. questions "all the time" - they love to help. So for the future: ask the Dr. (don't feel embarrased...just do it)

NOTE: Gessssssssssssssh...STOP emailing me about this. You have emailed me THREE times with the same thing. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....you've stated here yourself that it was a COMPLIMENT - let it go.

By the way: the dictionary is a "beautiful" thing: Word: REACTIVE: meaning:

adj.
Tending to be responsive or to react to a stimulus.
Characterized by reaction.
Chemistry & Physics. Tending to participate readily in reactions.

Youre daughter is very bright and well according to the doctor. A compliment means that you have done something well, or done a good deed, or you are looking good. Do your daughter a favour and be happy and don't forget to take her for regular check ups. You are doing well. xx
