We all know the bible condems homosexuality, I don't want to ask if it is right or wrong.
I saw a documentry on medicine. There is a just completed study on drugs.
What it concluded was medicines pass through our bodys into the sewer , sewerage is treated but it treatment does not take out the medicines .
This ends up in the food chain and when we eat (especially fish) we are getting a cocktail of drugs .( the pill , heart medicines and so on)
This could be partly to blame for homosexuality ,illnesses and a range of mental problems
Do you think this is possible and would god forgive those who have no control because of the affects of these medicines in our food ?

I think this is possible, but how probable a reality it is I don't know. I too have seen the studies about drugs, chemicals, and the like getting into the water through various means, including through the sewer system every time a toilet flushes. It's a very complex system and how it all happens is amazing, but very practical and logical to follow if you take the time.

Our filtering and water treatement systems can only do away with so much.

Of course things that happen to people that make them ill in any way at all is forgivable. With God all things are forgivable, but that doesn't mean there aren't consequences for the actions we take or do not take when we know what to do to set things aright.

The best thing to do is keep on your local water system managers to continue testing and revising the system to keep our water clean and pure.

Leave the eternal judgment for The Ancients of Days to do, and remember to be of help and service to the sick!

Completely impossible, I can't believe you would actually even consider this. One, homosexuality is not an illness, disease or a mental problem. I don't care what the bible says about anything, let alone homosexuality, so leave that alone. I don't believe in god, and I would worry more about the mercury content in tuna and other fish, than the trace amounts of aspirin or such.

Zahid- go spread lies someplace else. Homosexuality is not a mental disorder.

nope, homosexuality is not determined by what we eat.... its determined by who we are!!!, what about the murderers and peodophiles..... should god forgive them for killing and raping because they drank some dodgy water! in which case, why are we all living, surely......... everyone drinks water/ eats fish (except sum veggies haha) why isnt everyone becoming gay and the population ending?! this one question can sprout sooooo many more, i seriously think you should read what you wrote a few times, read the bible more also, im a bit religious, im studying religion, im a happily married lesbian.... and i know someone in that bible slept with another man! as you know too! :) but wait........... there were no meds and no treatments then.......... maybe just maybe.......... god made people to love the same sex to give people in the world to broaden there horizons..... think beyond the box! im not a lesbian because of water i drank or a fish i ate, im a lesbian because the person i am in love with happens to be a woman! nothing more, nothing less!

No, homosexuality is not an illness it is a normal human variation in sexual orientation just like the way height and IQ vary among the population and it has been around since the beginning of time when these drugs were not even developed...so no.

Homosexuality is considered within the normal range of human sexuality by the medical profession and by the APA.

That said there seem to be an alarming number of males being born with micro penises etc and there is thought to be a link to residues from contraceptive pills in the water supply, this has nothing to do with homosexuality however, homosexual males have a tendency to have larger penises than their straight counterparts according to recent studies..

Homosexuality has existed since the beginning of man. There are even animals that exhibit these characteristics. It is a genetic variation that occurs in 5 - 10% of the population and is not affected by anything in the water.

Actuallly, the Bible does not condemn homosexuality at all. It condemns certain homosexual acts (mainly dealing with temple prostitution). In fact, it condemns far more heterosexual acts than it does homosexual acts.

Also, sexual orientation is in a person at birth, and only comes to light at puberty when hormones kick into action.

So, to answer your question.... NO, drugs are not a cause of homosexuality... however, the ones you speak of may cause other problems.

Why do not we glance at this question from yet another attitude? Can drugs and alcohol reason heterosexuality? My fiance' is a recovering alcoholic and reported drugs and alcohol led to one among his friends to alter into heterosexual. He informed me that now that he now not beverages that he's now not a heterosexual. The chum has little need for adult adult males; by no potential dated; no relationships and now (counsels) stricken babies. Am I being a techniques too suspicious? Does this question sound abit discriminative to you?

Dear Friend,

Your question is..."Are drug(s) causing homosexuality?" The answer is found in the Bible.

How easy it would be if everyone could just place the blame on this or that for our "willful" actions.

However, it is true that man-made substances have side effects, and when you read the Word of God, there was much homosexual activity going on in those days (as is today). However, there were no such chemicals back then as there are today to support the theory (idea) of chemicals causing homosexual activity.

Here's a thought: Domestic animals also take human medicines for their ailments and I haven't seen any (tell tail) sign of dogs or cats concerned about their sexuality. However, over the last 10 years domestic animals most certainly "do" get the same kinds of sicknesses humans get because of the chemicals and preservatives in their food and water too. It is much better to seek "natural" remedies.

A wise person once said, "Don't believe everything you hear from this world, and only half of what you see. But ...you can rely on the "absolute" truth from the Living Word of God. Man is finite, and God is "infinite."

Bottom line, humans make "choices" in this life.

Growing up, my parents smoked. My sister and I did too. My brother, chose not to. Was it my parents fault we smoked? or the tobacco industries fault? No, of course not. we made a willful ...choice. Thankfully after 30 years of smoking, JESUS...(after praying for a year and Him "knowing" my heart)...REMOVED the smoking permanently. I wanted to stop for spiritual reasons. I want ....to SEE my Savior when I go to heaven. Whatever we put FIRST in our lives... IS our god! I don't want anyone or anything or any lifestyle to STOP my spiritual growth. I want to advance 'into' holiness with my Savior Jesus Christ and one day embrace me and say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Giving up my worldly desires and storing my treasures in heaven, is far better than anything this ...TEMPORARY world has to offer.

There is only One you can trust, and that is ...The Living Word of God; period. Man keeps trying to figure things out while God's Word...has the answers.

God KNEW that man would tamper with the "natural" resources He provided for our existance, I believe that is one of the protections Christians can ask for when we ask for a blessing on the food we eat. That doesn't mean to deliberately eat something or take something that is harmful and expect God to protect you from the consequences. That would be ridiculous. It does mean however, that when we eat from (say) MacDonalds, or any proccessed foods, or medicines we need for our health; we can ask Jesus to "bless" the food to our bodies and protect us.

We are to do ...our part, and God will do His. We must live in "obedience" to His Word.

Blessings in Christ Jesus,

general levels of health today are higher than they were at any point in human history (this is why the average life expectancy has risen year on year for well over a century now).

if you wish to go back to a more 'natural' diet with the life expectancy of 40-50 years that comes with it, it is relatively easy to move to one of the undeveloped parts of burkina faso or peru.

i wish you would.

So you mean to tell me its, the sewer water, slipping mickies,
and NOT POOP into our food and drinking water?

that its possible that they can't kill the AIDS virus from urine, and blood that seeped into the water, and were drinking,
Aids infested Blood, water?

Why do you think that Bleach can kill 99.9 percent of the bacteria, but NOT all the other germs,

I doubt that this is the cause?
