Wow, as an exmormon I find that extremely distasteful. As a member I never had any "harm" done to me.

How is it harming us?

I believe there are branches of Christianity that are far more harmful than we could ever be.

I was watching some sort of revival/fund raiser on TV this morning, and comparing it to a couple revival services, and I'll tell you, it scares the beejeebers out of me! The only difference between that and those POW camps in Viet Nam are that these people for some reason, want to be there. It's like they are taking drugs or something. They were so spaced out, some were doing some strange gyrations, it just couldn't be of God, or Jesus.

These people are expecting Jesus to cure all their ills, fix all their problems, pay all their bills, etc.

And the whole time they were hypnotizing these people, they were screaming "MORE MONEY! MORE MONEY! Send us MORE MONEY!"

edit:
Please!

ryan: "I'm not gonna vote for Romney cause he wears the WRONG UNDERWEAR!!"

That's certainly a good criteria for choosing the next President!

I bet if you found out that Hillary wears thongs, you'd have her campaign posters all over your house?

Magic underclothes is a mocking term. Mormons who've made covenants in the temple, placed on a garment as a actual reminder of the covenants they made. The garment is warn under the line outfits so as to no longer deliver interest to them. holding covenants can provide non secular protection by ability of God. subsequently the term "magic underclothes". we could see...How will we mock rosary beads or that white situation that ministers placed on on their collar.

You've got issues. If you are so content in your life, why do you harbor so many resentments against Mormons? It's a little sad really. Come on dude, your bigger than this.

*edit* I guess I wasn't important enough for them to harm. I have found that most people that leave the church believe what they want to believe to justify their actions. It goes for just about anything in life. Nobody wants to be wrong. If everybody says Mormons are such good people, how can they be so bad? It doesn't work that way.

Sometimes the facts need to be set straight. Meat Bot thinks he tells the truth but he lies. "magical" is the lie. And like the anti-christs of the Book of Mormon, he knows it's a lie.

If Meat Bot had a wife who I thought was the town whore because I saw her coming out of Fred's house, yet Meat Bot would not believe it because he knows the truth, then I could ask a question such as...Why does Mrs. Meat Bot walk around town shaking her toosh? or Why does Mrs. Meat Bot wear revealing clothes?

I don't want an answer. I just want Meat Bot to know the "truth" about his wife and I want others to know about Meat Bot's wife.

You're low, MB- mocking people's religion.

Ok- you've made fun of Mormon underwear. Gonna mock Muslim prayer rugs next? Or maybe you'll ridicule Catholic rosaires, or Jewish yamikas (sp?).

So what is the Mormon church doing to "harm" it's member's, exactly? I've been a member my entire life (30+ yrs), and I have yet to see how this church brings harm to the members. Please, give some kind of evidence, and I'll be willing to at least look at it, but without some kind of evidence, I am nowhere near convinced. Your claim is just empty air....

Please remember- we don't consider our underwear "magic." Sacred- yes, but magic??

You've now shown the kind of person you really are, and I pity you on the day of judgement.

I would ask the you refrain from posting things are so against what we consider sacred. Respect others and just deal with the fact that someone believes something different then you do.

Get a life!!! Try some respect. How would you like someone making fun of something you find sacred and important to you?Think about that for a while.

Oh.. reported again, by the way.

It's not harming it's members, it's growing because it blesses its members. If you have no food, you can go to the bishops storehouse, if you have no bed or clothes, there's Deseret Industries. The church helps it members, and the members help the church. You had a problem with the church, I bet because of it's conservative sexual mores.

I am a Mormon and do not feel "harmed." In fact, it is the best thing that ever happened to me. I feel more joy, happiness, and a closeness to Christ than ever before. And to answer your question, "Yes."

When I used to work at a nursing home one of our residents had to wear undies like that for religious purpouses (I'll assume she was mormon, but to be honest I dont remember)

Her family insisted no one ever see her without them on but only left her with one pair. Since we were responsible for bathing and changing her it became a bit of a problem.

Edit: Thumbs down? really? I'm always curious what warrants that.
