I feel that if im not sharing every experience with someone that it doesnt matter at all and most of the time it keeps me from doing things unless someone comes with me. I think that its healthy to have some alone time now and again to relax but whenever i have some time i feel terrible because no one else is there and i have to seek out someone before doing anything. I was just curious what this would be called by others and how to go about ridding myself of this dependence.

I don't believe you do NOTHING alone. Anyway, you're simply a socially dependent person. It's really not an illness and it can be overcome, if it's important enough to you. Make the acts you perform alone meaningful in themselves. They can be accomplishments rather than meaningless actions.

It really isn't much fun doing things alone, don't think this is really dependence, more of a social need. Wanting to share experiences, who else will you talk to about it later? I don't like to go out alone, makes me feel like I'm a member of the lonely hearts club. Plus there is the issue of safety for me.
