Ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, propylephedrine, phenylephrine, or desoxyephedrine
(Nyquil, Contact, Sudafed, Allerest, Tavist-D, Dimetapp, etc)
Phenegan-D, Robitussin Cold and Flu, Vicks Nyquil
Over-the-counter diet aids with phenylpropanolamine (Dexatrim, Accutrim)
Over-the-counter nasal sprays (Vicks inhaler, Afrin)
Asthma medications (Marax, Bronkaid tablets, Primatine Tablets)

Yes, you might. The common culprit is Pseudoephedrine which is found in many OTC products and in cold and sinus medications. So you will need a laboratory confirmation as well as an MRO review by your physician to determine the source.

if you get a pos. from these tests a GC./MS (urine sent to a testing lab) test can confire mamp or the cold medicine

Cold and flu medications. Not so much the newer ones but the older ones that have pseudoephededrine hydrocloride. These you have to buy at the pharmacy counter in some states because it is used to manufacture meth.

None. Even the things like cold medicine with ephedrine come back as simply that. There is a specific test for something that is only in Meth, so nothing gets confused with it.
