see for instance this about Eusebius:
"Eusebius who served as an ecclesiastical church historian and bishop. He had great influence in the early Church and he openly advocated the use of fraud and deception in furthering the interests of the Church [Remsberg]. The first mention of Jesus by Josephus came from Eusebius (none of the earlier church fathers mention Josephus' Jesus). It comes to no surprise why many scholars think that Eusebius interpolated his writings. In his Ecclesiastical History, he writes, "We shall introduce into this history in general only those events which may be useful first to ourselves and afterwards to posterity." (Vol. 8, chapter 2). In his Praeparatio Evangelica, he includes a chapter titled, "How it may be Lawful and Fitting to use Falsehood as a Medicine, and for the Benefit of those who Want to be Deceived" (book 12, chapter 32)."

"The Church had such power over people, that to question the Church could result in death. Regardless of what the Church claimed, people had to take it as "truth." St. Ignatius Loyola of the 16th century even wrote: "We should always be disposed to believe that which appears to us to be white is really black, if the hierarchy of the church so decides."

"The editing and formation of the Bible came from members of the early Christian Church. Since the fathers of the Church possessed the texts and determined what would appear in the Bible, there occurred plenty of opportunity and motive to change, modify, or create texts that might bolster the position of the Church or the members of the Church themselves."

Christians may claim the Bible is the word of God , But surly they can't deny hundreds of contradictions and altrations ,

So when Word of God is mixed up with altrations , Then it became , Not the 'Half Truth' , But more dangourius than a lie ,

As "The worst lie is that which also contain some fact in it"

Resultingly , Bible (Specially US bible) is producing Folks of Atheiests ,

And Atheiests are even logical than the Christians , At least they use their Brains ,

We Humans can never embrace a doctrine when evidence stands against it ,
Following a principle without evidence is absurd ,

If God wants a person to believe in a principle, He should make it clear and evident. He is the Most Fair and Just. He knows that belief is not a voluntary thing; that is, it is not up to the individual. A person is not able to believe or disbelieve anything he chooses. The human body is at one's command but not the mind. I can obey a command that tells me to move my hand up or down, to walk or sit, even if such a command does not seem to be wise. But I am not able to obey a command, for example, that tells me to believe that two and two are five, or that three are one, or that fire is cold, or that snow is hot ,

Our human knowledge comes from direct or indirect evidence, and it does not follow our own whim and will. An acceptable religious belief must be based on knowledge. When God wants me to know something, He should make such a knowledge possible by making its evidence available. Should He demand from me to believe something while evidence is standing against it, He would be asking me to do the impossible. This contradicts His justice.

Following a principle against evidence, or with lack of evidence, is like a judgement of a court against a defendant without any evidence. Such an attitude is not to be praised.

It doesn't matter that scriptural fraud was once the church policy.....the truth is made known by the Christians, saying the bible is the word because if you read it,you will see that all scriptures have and is coming to pass.History has been proven to be true,we are living the truth now.Everything has come true to this day,so how can the scriptures be wrong. There are several rescourses you can find on the internet about this and several books, helping explain the bible in understandable terms. The bible will always be the word of God and no one can change that fact.

First, nothing you stated links Eusebius to altering Biblical texts.

Second, it is only ASSUMED that Eusebius is responsible for a interpolation of Josephus' antiquities.

Third, when you read actual scholarly work on Josephus mention of Jesus, it is almost unanimous that Josephus did in fact mention Jesus of Nazareth but only his claim to be the Christ was added.

Eusebius' history is not the sacred text of holy scripture. History for history's sake is a modern development. Most cultures decided what to share for posterity. We see this in Egypt with steles and statues being destroyed and in other cultures where writings are burnt.

While I do not agree with his tract, Eusebius' attempts are apologetics based, not strictly historically based.

But, no matter what his views, we have reliable records of holy scripture well before Eusebius that give us good and accurate texts of scripture that are spread over time and history.

The only way people are going to be enlightened is to READ and READ some more. Reading different types of written materials has greatly enhanced my own informed decision on christianity. I believe there is a creator but not as it has been depicted by 'religious' scholars. I now do not belong to any religious group. Spiritually I feel absolutely free of condemnation and burning in hell fire. Global warming for me could be the hell fire!!!!!

You are talking about the Catholic church. That system is corrupt, and their Bible is corrupt and NOT the word of God at all. Now the true church - the one that the Catholic system attacked and killed throughout the Middle Ages - they had the true Bible and they were the real church. Study it out - it's all right there in history if you dig a bit!

In spite of all that the catholic church has done, God has been faithful to maintain His Word.

Just look at all the prophecies which came to pass as foretold.

Look at all the archeological digs that have uncovered ancient artifacts and cities which prove the validity of the Scriptures.

Most importantly, look at the way lives have been changed by the application of the Word of God. Go to any Teen Challenge center around the world with questions in hand and interview the literally hundreds, if not thousands, of TC graduates who will testify to the life-changing power of God's Word! The proof, as they say, is in the pudding.

Oh, one last item of "evidence", which is too complex to present here in its entirety, has to do with the very language itself, both in Hebrew and Greek, which contain their own built-in numerical system.

For instance, if we were doing this in English, the letter "A" would have a numerical value of 1, while "B" would be equal to 2, "C"=3, and so forth.

In the Hebrew alphabet, Aleph=1, Beth=2, Gimmel=3, et cetera.

In the Greek alphabet, Alpha=1, Beta=2, Gamma=3, Delta=4, et cetera.

For instance, if you only spoke Hebrew, and you wanted 18 of something, you would use the word "Chai" ("Life"), because the numberical value of this word is 18.

So, unlike the English language, that IS their numbering system. They don't have a separate set of characters for each numeral.

When you go back to the original Hebrew and Greek text and start doing a simple mathematical survey, ignoring the text as words, but viewing them as numbers, you start seeing highly complex numerical systems that, when studied to any depth, demonstrate that only an infinite Master Mind could connect the books in this manner.

Just ONE example to get you started, but the rest is up to you:
In the book of Revelations, there is the beginnings of a "sequence" of numbers (such as 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, et cetera) - there are many different kinds of sequences, such as the Fibonacci series of numbers (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, et cetera) - there's an entire branch of mathematics that teaches this kind of thing at the university level for math majors and minors.

In any case, this sequence of numbers that begins in the book of Revelations (the very LAST book in the Bible) continues in the book of Daniel in the chapters that deal with the last days!

To be able to construct this sequence of numbers, Revelations would need to be written FIRST, but Daniel was written oh - a thousand years, perhaps? - but Daniel was written FIRST! Which means that the Master Mind behind the text had to transcend time, itself!!!

So, you tell me, does this demonstrate that God is behind the Bible, even to the very words used?

Oh, and let's not forget all the geneologies! These names fit like a hand in a glove, such as the genelogy of Jesus in Matthew. But Matthew could not just pick and choose any names he wanted just to be able to create some kind of "hidden code", because those names were ALREADY THERE!!!!!

Now, go take your nonsense and hide under the bed before the boogy man comes to take you away!

Because the Bible predates Eusebius. The Old Testament is known to predate him by nearly 500 years (minimum), and whole copies of the New Testament by 100 years; fragmentary copies of the New Testament back to 100AD.

I suspect you may believe the (Catholic) church's claim to have provided or be responsible for the Bible; if that were true, your statement would be more valid, given the Catholic church's habit of deceptive history keeping. However, a very simple review of the history of the Bible finds the Catholic church uninvolved until the 4th century AD

they had a unique policy about doing all things for the good of god including lying through the teeth in order to sell its theology. paul, the self proclaimed apostle, said some lied by exaggeration of god but whether a man lied or not it brought glory. the church went with it.

the writings of josephus have been shown to have been forged with the insertings of a reference to jesus. the earlier manuscripts did not mention jesus in translation until after 1150 CE. writings claiming josephus as reference are not highly regarded by scholars these days in trying to prove jesus. jesus could have lived or might not have lived. not everyone who ever lived or was executed had their names recorded. proving jesus did or did not live is an unwinable argument. what the problem is comes from whether jesus was what christianity claims he is.

christianity is the greatest work of fiction ever written. it was a fictional series written for entertainment in the greek world. how can a religion based on old testament writings of fairytales and mythology be taken seriously? they base their religion on the myth a girl was given a magic fruit from a magic tree by a talking snake. and, they swear this story is so absolutely true that they will die for the right to make others believe this nonsense, and force us to allow them to teach this nonsense. then they insist we show respect for their beliefs. no, we do not have to show them respect for their beliefs. we respect their right to worship as they chose. we do not have to put up with them interrupting funerals and making accusations against us that is not their business to ask or ridicule. they force regulation of morals against a nation designed to allow such freedom and liberty and foster rebellion and strife everywhere it is sent--usually Democracy is taught, and not christianity. the world would be safer without religion.

Well for one, the dead sea scrolls which are not of the scriptures, have copies of Isaiah and such that are almost alike even though people claim the scriptures have been translated several times, and then there is the greek word Rhema:By contrast, the Logos (λόγος), is typically used in Scripture to refer to what God has said to His people, that is, the collection of God's sayings about Himself, His relationship with His creation and His Church. The Logos of God is true for all time and in all places. It is easy to see how this can be interpreted both as the bible (God's Word Written) and in the Person of Jesus Christ (God's Word in the Flesh) as seen in John's Gospel, Chapter 1.

The Holy Spirit often uses passages in the Logos of God to create specific guidance, Rhema, for the individual. An example of the Rhema of God is to consider how several different people can read the same passage of Scripture and each sees something different. This occurs because each person is in a different place spiritually in their individual lives so God's word to each of them in that moment of their lives is different - specific to their needs. The Logos (God's original meaning and intention) has not changed, but the Holy Spirit has used it to speak to each according to his or her needs
This is where God teaches you from his word, were it becomes alive.
