fire_side_2003: You say that as if it would be a bad thing. After all, the Christians already stole it from the pagans.

The only federally observed Christian Holiday is Christmas. Before you say no, Easter is not a Federally observed Holiday if it was the Banks would be closed the Monday following Easter. Anyway, give it a couple more years and the secular world will be stealing Christmas from the Christians and calling it a Snow Day.

Response- Your silly.....Have a great day.

What about no being a boring uptight person who can't take a joke day? I realize it would be a bit much to fit on a calendar, but it's worth a try. Of course if it gets me a day off from work, I'm all for it!!

Make it Open Mind Day, where on that day it becomes a tradition to respectfully visit another religious group than your own->
Christians visit with Muslims, Jews with Hindu's, Atheitsts with Catholics etc etc.
After all, only an open mind can grow.

Sweet! Another holiday! As long as it involves, fireworks, lights and or/food, I'm there.

Presidents Day worships pagans? I missed that memo....

I think that Superbowl Monday should be a national holiday. I usually take it off anyway and it is a national event.
