I enjoy working, I have tried not working and found it boring. Working gives me a sense of satisfaction and a paycheck.

Who asked that? What an idiotic question. Why does anyone work. Unless it is voluntary work, it is obvious that you work to provide for yourself and/or your family. If you are working in your desired field you could also be working because you have a passion for what you do. If you are set money wise then you could be working to keep busy, but usually people do something that they are passionate about in this instance. I hate when interviewers ask off the wall questions. I had someone ask me "What tasks makes you irritated/upset when you are asked to perform it at work?" Of course in reality there is somethings that I hate doing, but why on earth will I tell someone interviewing me that I get irritated or angry when asked to do an assignment? How would that make me look? What if I would have said something that happens to be a task that they would have me perform everyday.
I told them that there are some duties that I enjoy more than others, but I am never irritated or angry when asked to perform a task as I know it is necessary. Not sure if they liked the answer. That was a recent interview so I guess I'll find out shortly. lol

Hopefully, the question was asked to see if you wanted to have a career there or if it was just a JOB to pay the bills. There is a difference between the two. Employers are looking for people that like what they are doing and are good at it, not slackers who at first are enthusiastic about the position, get the job and then complain that they hate it. I think that any job can turn into a career as long as you're happy doing what you do. Even the lowliest job can have advancement opportunities.
