How can you prove he was or wasn't?

Job was not a Hebrew. He calls God El Shaddai rather than Yahweh, although the first chapter referenced Yahweh (indicating it was a Hebrew who wrote down the story)

I believe also that timeframe wise, this occured before the nation of Israel existed. I think it is Elihu who is mentioned as a relative of Abraham in Genesis

Job wasn't real. The book of Job is a morality play.

As it's written, Job wasn't a Hebrew. He didn't know the law.
