Not to be rude, but education will teach you proper punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, etc. so you don't look like an idiot.

But more seriously, I don't think formal education is right for everyone. Not everybody learns the same way. Maybe you're a hands-on type of person. Play to your strengths. If studying and memorization isn't right for you, learn a trade.

Education is important.
the society is all about education.
if you want to go far in life, you might as well continue school no matter how hard and stressful it is. You can try finding what's missing in your life, that is causing you to lose focus in school,. I suggest talking to other people, friends, families about it.
Even though you haven't studied over the summer, its okay, its a new year, a new start. The teachers will review topics that were learnt last year. Just a bit faster.
also, when you study, you review the information, and then you'll do well on your tests. If you don't review, you wont do well...most of the times. But in my opinion, i really do think you should continue school, because you might one day regret ever quiting school...
(good education can lead to money XD)
Good luck :)

I may take some heat for this, but maybe some folks shouldn't go to school forever. You could be one of those people. That sure doesn't mean they shouldn't have a plan, of course. If you are going to drop out of school, consider your alternatives:

* the military. Still requires a GED, but if you get that, you can get a 40K signing bonus. That's the upside. The downside is obvious.

*minimum wage job: You'll earn less than half those people make who graduate college. This means living paycheck to paycheck for a very long time, but there is job training available in nearly all areas.

*time to think: if it's just time to think you need, figure out what you want to do. If your goals involve anything that requires education, do that. If they don't do that. But give yourself time to think. BUT! Realize you could wake up 27, not having done much, by the time you figure it out. Then it might be too late to start on some dreams.

*finally, talk to someone who has done it. See what someone else who has dropped out thinks about it and listen to what they have to say. They'll have the insight you don't right now. You're in a panic.

Bottom line - it's your choice, but think about all the alternatives and consequences before you make it.

Good luck!

It's difficult when you are studying, and you are completely stressed out about it, but if you want a good job and a career you must carry on. I went through phases like that. When it was difficult to get motivated. But you must force yourself to do the work.

I don't regret my education. I have had very good, well paid jobs because of it. It is worth it in the end.

OMG, your grammar is very....weard?
well that's not exactly the question but my advice for you dude is that never ever try to quit because quitting is for losers!!if you quit, maybe in the future, you'll regret what you did because maybe you're seeing your old friends graduate and get high-positioned, big-bucks paying, corporate job in a flash while you're there with nothing else to do and with little money(a.k.a "tambays" as we call it in filipino). but if you cant really do it, then why cant you try to learn an easier course like hotel and resto management or culinary arts? at least it's fun!!

no, plz dont quit. even though it seems like it's not worth your time, it will definitely help you in the long run. even if you just finish high school, you can get a better job than if not. College would be wonderful too, quitting school=not getting a good paying job. i don't think you want to live that life. Even if it seems like torture, stick to it. Trust me, I've had several friends that quit and they are not in good positions today...

Well, the poor spelling and grammar in your question clearly answer the question for you. Why do you need to ask such a question? Is it not obvious why we need to be educated??
