I'm giving my old laptop to a friend and need to change user permissions. I keep getting this error every time I try to change using the Users icon in control panel.

"Client services for Netware has disabled the Welcome Screen and Fast User Switching. Must Uninstall Client Services for Netware."

I can't find Netware anywhere on my computer. Even "search" for Client Services or Netware produces nothing and restore, as far back as my oldest restore point, produces nothing.

How do I restore the Welcome Screen and Fast User Switching?

Can anyone help? What should I do?

Thank you.

Go to your "local area connections" properties page and select "Client services for Netware" and then install....this would be the same place you go to for your TCP/IP settings in case your not familiar with the dialog box.
