or should i wait till it's completely drained. The thing is I might need to use it more, but won't have time to charge it.

Yes, it is fine to charge a Li-Ion battery without discharging it completely.

In fact it is better for a Li-Ion battery for it not to be fully discharged very often as the battery can only survive a limited number of charge discharge cycles (though if you need to use all the battery life don't be afraid to run it all the way down, you'd need to discharged several hundred times to actually kill it off (though if you take the advise of some idiots who can't tell the difference between Lithium batteries and Nickel batteries you'd manage it)).

You can at the risk of shortening the life of the battery. It is better to let the battery get real low before charging it.
