Well i have had my rubber bands for about a month now. About 2 weeks ago my orthodontist put more in my mouth for the right side of my Jaw. It is supposed to expand my top jaw a little bit, but i have ntoiced when i bited down fully, my jaw is not sitting right. The bottom jaw shifts to the left when i bite down, and it does not look alligned. Is this supposed to happen? Or is something wrong?

I have an appointment with him on November 29

I wore braces for two years to correct an "open bite" and to close a gap. I had rubberbands placed several times in the process. Now I have a permanent retainer behind my top eye teeth where the gap was closed.
The process of shifting your teeth is long and sometimes painful, but well worth it. Ask your orthodontist about this, but likely it is just part of the process.
Time will pass and you too will be rid of your braces and enjoy a beautiful smile.

Call the office and ask. It is a common question. The orthodontist in my opinion is an artist in how he moves the teeth. It's best to call and find out his plan. Good luck.

Let him know of your concerns, but as a professional he's probably got a plan as to how he wants your teeth to end up.
