Give us a Biblical prophesy of something that hasn't happened yet, and we'll see if it comes true.
Prophesizing about the past isn't very impressive, hon.
Jack (above) writes "Even better-no portion of the Bible has ever been proven wrong to date!".
That's obviously false. For example, the Bible says that the various species that we see around us were created in their current form. That's false.
Doesn't the fact that you have to tell such transparent lies to defend your beliefs tell you something about the quality of those beliefs? It should.

Q&A QUEEN - give some specific examples, please.
Throw enough poop against the wall and some of it will stick, I guess.
I can make 1000 vague predictions, and a large number may later be interpretted as being somehwat accurate, but the Bible is supposed to be perfect, and it most definitely was not. For example, the reason the Jews did not accept Christ is because he CLEARLY DID NOT fulfill many of the prophecies (listed in detail here on many occasions).
But don't let the truth get in the way of your beliefs.
The lack of reasoning and education demonstrated here would be frightening if it weren't so terribly typical.

As a writer one writes the prohecies and the out comes. No where outside of the bible can that be proven and since no one can prove God then they can not prove the bible. I could write a book and make all kinds of claims then set the plot that I fill them the end....

If i ought to written in 1900: there'll be a guy, possibly the least impressive of his relatives who will upward push to tremendous heights and could be loved through many. he will take the lead and evade the destruction of the international before finally paying the fee for this inclusive of his demise. which will be JFK, word how i did not favor to apply any dates, names, places and so on. supply me a prophecy that provides the precise date of the events, the precise position the position they are going to ensue, the completed names of each and every of the individuals in touch and what occurs to each and each and every of them and that i will pray like a sinner on his deathbed. must be no difficulty for the note of God.

The Bible is true and so many like to cover their ears and run around yelling... can't hear you that you won't get many reasonable answers here.
The prophecies about Jesus written in Isaiah were called later editing until they found a copy of the book of Isaiah written in about 250 BC. It can be seen in the Museum of the Book in Israel and they will still deny that it has anything to do with him. In Daniel 9 it even talks about the number of years and the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple...ignored too... ???? If someone isn't willing to honestly look at something they will never find out if it is true they will just find what they want... even if it is false.
The simplest prophecy that can be confirmed is that the Bible talked about the Jews being dispersed and the far in the future returning to the land again and over 2600 years later in 1948 the country of Israel was restored to the map. They have been attacked by armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, the terrorists Hezbollah (funded by Iran) and they are still there.
In the book "Late Great Planet Earth" on Bible prophecies by Hal Lyndsie talks about Russia and Iran being allies in the last days.... Putin is in Iran this month and the president of Iran keeps saying they will destroy Israel and the US. Now Mr Lyndsie wrote this book over 40 years ago and he quotes authors that wrote over 100 years ago talking about Russia and Persia (Iran) being allied...sounds like more prophecies about to come true.
Back to the Bible is doing a series on Revelations.. very interesting.

Well most of the Old Testament prophecies that 'come true' in the New Testament never actually happened, the authors just assumed that they did because they believed the prophecies. Basically it's like if I were to predict a coin landing heads, then throw it over a cliff and tell you that it landed heads without any way of knowing.

Vague writing and symbolism that can be interpreted to fit any time period, that's how.
Did you not read the part where Jesus says the end times will come in his apostles' lifetime? Many of the symbols in Revelation fit the Roman Empire perfectly... and Dark Ages Europe... and Germany during WWII... and any number of countries/businesses/groups now.
Of course, other religious books make equally fulfilled prophecies (and fewer scientific errors - like rabbits chewing cud). I suppose, by your reasoning, that makes those true as well.

Because the fulfilments were written with the prophesies in mind, and shoehorned to fit as previous answer. Case in point is the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem clearly made up to fit the prophesy. Much of the fulfilments are re-hashes of previous verses that have been brought back as proofs - there are many duplications in the bible - it's easy to get muddled.

In every religion you'll find this holds true. Each religion has its own prophecies, which sometimes come true. The reason is not far to find. You too can make hundreds of such prophecies and find out for yourself that some do come out true. Its the theory of "probables" at work. When any one comes true a hue and cry is made to make many people believe in that religion. But find out how many such forecast do not come true and you will get the answer.

Can you list me a few? And any that were fufilled in the Bible don't count, the prophecies could have been written after the events or the stories could have been modified to fit the prophecies.
Anyway, vague enough writing can be used to predict the future with 100% accuracy.
