You can't go wrong with St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, they take care of the kids, and have made alot of kids healthy and smiling again.

I would suggest calling your department of children services and asking for a list of non-proft organizations in your community. Then call each one and ask them to give you quick brief on what they do, who they help etc.. This way, your helping people within your own community, and you have a choice of who you help.
Two great places I help through the year is the local Domestic Violence Center, they help women that have no one else to help them, and also, one place most people over look is the local schools. All of our elementary schools have advocates, and they help with kids that don't have winter clothes, coats, shoes, and they also help with Christmas items for the kids that wouldn't get anything otherwise.
Good Luck! Blessed be

I have an adorable 2 year old grandson who suffers from Tuberous Sclerosis, which causes horrible painful brain tumours, and tumours to appear on his vital organs. He is autistic, and will never speak, although he can hum a tune perfectly. My daughter has tried to get financial help for vital equiptment, like a tumble dryer,But the condition is not common, there is not much support for it, so I am setting up my own fund raising organisation, in the village we live in, to send him, and his 3 siblings to Disneyland.

I'm sure this is the kind of donating you are talking about, but if you want to stay local, our non-profit dance academy needs help! Its the only dance academy in West Hawaii.

Why? There's enough people in dire need right in our own country. Not from poor choices or dependency on ANY substance either.
