No, I hate that there are five tracks that are close to identical.

I'm not fond of the description, but when somebody says it, I know what they're referring to.
I agree with the notion that the media has beat the term to death. Kind of like "draft tracking" on ABC/ESPN, and the DISH Tech Center.
Occasionally I am embarrassed to say I've been a part of the media.
At the same time, I will agree there are a few too many tracks that are the some old, same old.

No better choice of words. The tracks have the same configuration like they were cut from a cookie cutter.Dayyam the tri-oval make it a true oval.

I just hate it that they are making so many of the tracks alike. They need to come up with some new designs. Instead of calling them cookie cutter tracks, they should be called copy cat tracks.

I agree with tregoste !! And thank's for saving me 5 pts. for asking what a cookie cutter track is. I kind-of had an idea what they meant.... So guy's, does this mean I should bake tri-
oval shaped cookies for my buddies, when they race at these tracks? That's gonna be hard to get the cookie, dipped down into the glass of milk !!! lol

Blame the media initially for that one. They get their hands on a term and overuse the heck out of it. Half of the numbskulls who use that term probably don't know what it means!

EDIT: Our resident board troll has copied and pasted my answer......nice.
