They do not allow staff to wear crosses, and they do not in anyway represent the symbol they use.

NO you CAN'T sue them because it is a NATIONAL FLAG not a religious symbol. Does it really offend you so much?
People like you are what's wrong with this country!

There was nothing religious about this story.
British Airways bans ALL jewellery as part of their dress code, but this woman felt that she didn't have to adhere to the dress code because her jewellery was a cross.
There was a similar story last year, with the same religious spin put on it.

Crosses have not been specifically banned by BA. Jewelery is banned. There is a difference.
BA has just refused to give an exception to crusifixes. It doesn't judge crusifixes to be offensive, it just doesn't make exceptions for them.
The Daily Mail article is a distortion of the truth.

naaa you cant sue them for that
but this lady has a right to wear her cross the same as the Muslim ladies with their veils
everyone has a right to say ... this is who I am and what I believe
I find that Joe public really doesn't have a problem with it
but governments and those in power have went OTT with political correctness
it is all getting out of hand and they are cutting their noses off to spite their face
edit
ok biscit has a point there .. if it is a jewellery issue and not a faith issue
so maybe this lady can find another way to display her faith

Then you will have to ban the days of the week and months of the year which all have pagan religious significance, In fact, you will have to ban 90% of all laws, names of places...etc, etc, etc.
OK, lets make it easy; lets ban the world...you little DUMMY!

I myself dislike the flag, I prefer the Union flag. I do not see that it is religious though, however would not mind if it was. It is just a flag it does not represent all I stand for; me.
