When I said "unscented", I meant to put "non-toxic". In other words, a solution that will actually kill germs...like 'grapfruit seed extract', or something similar. Does vinigar kill germs?

I think anything that will kill germs is going to smell bad if its natural. I agree with the vinegar and put some alcohol in your rinse water. Why not just go buy some Mr. Clean?

Blessed:

Any of the soy-based cleaning agents will fit the bill. Soy is a powerful cleanser, it is a renewable resource, and it has no odor. There are lots of brands, but I prefer Enviro-Rite. You can look on-line at the link below or go to your natural foods market. Be careful about putting vinegar on tile floors. While vinegar will clean the tiles, the acid will harm the grout between the tiles. Good for you for deciding not to use toxic chemicals in your home!

Put a cup of Hydrogen Peroxide in your mop bucket to rinse the floor! Also use it in the rinse water for your dishes and for wiping down the cabinets.

Pour straight from the bottle over cutting boards.

Vinegar is great for cleaning floors. Just don't put too much or it will have a strong smell.
